I recently became and Apple Switcher and there is nostalgia for Windows with me. Here are 5 things I learned as an OS X newbie:

  1. If you hold down the CTRL key, that’s like right-clicking in Windows. Duh…
  2. Adium rocks.
  3. Expose, I adore you. Who knew, switching window focus could be this fun.
  4. The power of consistency. It’s great having the file/tool bars always in the same place.
  5. The built in text-to-speech capabilities are a great way to proofread stuff.

I may be late to the Apple party but at least I made it!
