The Wal-Mart Protest
For those of you not in Austin, there is a big protest going on about keeping Wal-Mart out of some Central Austin Neighborhoods. This past week there was a protest against the planned Wal-Mart. Take a look at some of the key protesters. I think the plan is to flood Wal-Mart with cuteness. If this doesn’t work, who knows what the residences of Crestview and Brentwood have up their sleeves.
I like the red shirts with the slogan “Wal-Mart is not weird.” Very creative, does anyone know where I can get one? I want to help the cause, I am a Target kind of guy.

The fight continues. We just got back from the open session Walmart and Licoln properties held in the Northcross mall. They can paint it any color they want but the majority of the crowd was wearing red and was, for that matter, seeing red too. The fight’s not over. Cheers.
