The contractor from A&B calibrated my system, and like Klobe said, he picked the spot where we were most likely to watch movies. A&B uses Toy Story to demo their systems, so it's another alternative. Also, I always have a hard time hearing voices during movies, so I've turned my center channel up a bit since the calibration was done.

With my old setup the sound was noticably better after calibration. Pick the spot you will normally be sitting and work from there; the rest of the room will still sound good, but the chosen spot is the place to be. When showing off, make sure your guests sit there!

The opening scene of Tomorrow Never Dies was pretty good at the time, but I'm sure better ones exist now. If you have a disc with a THX trailer, that works well also. I've heard the pod race scene in the first Star Wars is pretty sweet.
