1. Buy extra speaker wire. When you cut it, just plan on making it twice as long as you think you’ll need.
  2. Use banana plugs to connect the speakers to the receiver. It’ll save you time.
  3. Read the directions first. For everything.
  4. Label both ends of the speaker connections (front left, back right, etc) once setup.
  5. After it’s taken twice as long as expected to setup  — and still nothing works — take a deep breath and go outside for a walk.
