A Weekend of Upsets
Wow, just when you think you know College Football, you don’t. What a weekend. Tons of upsets. Here’s my recap:
- The biggest winner on Saturday was Arkansas. Look for them to be rated in the top 5 of the BCS.
- By far the luckiest team is Florida who barely survived. The Ball Coach can coach, but I still hate him.
- Is it possible that Rutgers could make it into the top 5 in the BCS? Seems more likely today than yesterday…
- Wake beats FSU and shuts them out at home to add insult to injury? Are you kidding? The end of the world is near.
- SMU blows a late lead against Houston. Well, somethings never change. Maybe the world is not ending.
- The Texas loss ends Colt’s write-in Hesiman campaign. Why can’t Andre Ware pronounce Devon correctly?
- Georgia went from most overrated early-year team to most underrated late-year team. Auburn needs to stop playing early games
- Notre Dame plays yet another military academy and will move up in the polls. Explain why?
- The Michigan/Ohio State loser may indeed still be in the championship game. If this happens, the BCS implodes on itself.
- Moment of silence for Miami. Tough year on and off the field. Nice effort in a difficult time.
- Butch Davis can not get to UNC soon enough.
- Cal started the season overrated and were exposed again today.
- LSU is the spoiler and will beat Arkansas next week.
