Right tool, right job, as long as I don’t have to change
One of the platitudes in software development is choosing the right programming language for the right problem. I would estimate that 95% of software developers would agree with this statement. I would also estimate that 90% of software developers use the same language 90% of the time.
That’s an interesting point. Although, I think I generally prefer C++, being the old fart that I am, but most of my productive work is in C# and Python these days.
