5 Songs I found from TV
All my cool friends go to ACL and SXSW to find up and coming bands playing new music. I am way too lazy for this. I prefer to discover songs that I hear on TV shows, DVD’s, Movies, or Commercials. It requires virtually no effort but I still feel like I have discovered something. Here are the five most recent songs I “discovered”:
- Half Acre: Found by watching commercial for Liberty Mutual Insurance
- Transatlanticism: Found by watching Six Feet Under
- Beware of the Boys: Found by watching Entourage
- Folsom Prison Blues: Found by watching Walk the Line
- I Got a Women: Found by watching Ray.
“We do what the customers ask for”…
When I’m talking software innovation with people, few things — OK, no other things — drive me more crazy when I hear the phrase “we do what the customers ask for.” Sure, I’ve read and believe in The Inmates……
Watched both Kill Bill movies again this past weekend. Talk about great use of music. There are lots of good songs in those movies. Would probably be a great soundtrack to have.
Agree. Kill Bill great soundtrack. Garden State is another awesome soundtrack. Maybe that needs to be a post, top 5 soundtracks.
